Which style is right for you?
At Battle Ground hearing, we believe you fit the patient, not the hearing aid. The choice of hearing instruments depends on a number of factors, including severity of hearing loss, physical dexterity, physiological conditions and aesthetic priorities. Click the models below for a short description.
Receiver-In-Canal – The most popular and widely prescribed instrument today. The un- occluded or Open Fit approach optimizes the balance of natural hearing and amplification to produce the most natural hearing experience possible. Can fit losses from mild to severe.
Slim Tube/Behind the Ear- For those who need a bit more power or may have issues that make an open fitting less appropriate.
Full Shell ITE- An all in the ear option for those who prefer not to have a device behind the ear. Compatible for most losses from mild to severe.
ITC- A smaller more discreet option for those who prefer an in the ear product. Slightly less powerful than the ITE but still appropriate for mild to moderately severe hearing loss.
CIC- Nearly invisible from most vantage points, the CIC is the most discreet option which includes wireless and Bluetooth capabilities.
IIC- The smallest in the ear hearing instrument available today. For mild to moderate hearing loss where discretion is a priority.
